Heyzap Receives Funding From Union Square Ventures

usvToday we are excited to announce that we have received funding from Union Square Ventures. We are pleased to join the other great companies in their portfolio (Twitter, Zynga, Disqus, Etsy, Zemanta and all the other great companies) and look forward to working with USV. Here are three great articles about the story:

We (Jude Gomila and Immad Akhund) launched Heyzap with Y Combinator backing in January. Since the launch the entire experience has been an amazing journey.

With the help of the community we have been continually improving the product. We see a lot of room for innovation in the online gaming market and look forward to coming up with better ways of improving the Heyzap experience for publishers, developers and users.

We are looking forward to working with Union Square Ventures and our other angels; Naval Ravikant (Hit Forge), Joshua Schacter and Maurice Werdegar.

We would like to thank Union Square Ventures especially our partner Albert Wenger, our other angels, our family, friends and users for believing in us.
