Heyzap is Hiring for Business Development

Heyzap is looking for a business development genius to spearhead awesome partnerships with biggest names in the social games and online MMO space. You will be primarily in charge of targeting, initiating and building long lasting relationships with some of the most innovative companies in the gaming industry.

Heyzap works with the biggest game developers and websites including Bigpoint, Aeria Games, The Broth, Ning and Hi5 who serve millions of gameplays a month. We also have a growing network of 270,000 websites that take games from us. You will be part of building the client base of game developers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with social game developers and MMOs
  • Initiate, structure and maintain large partnerships with game developers- Be the primary point of contact between executive level and Heyzap’s Game developers
  • Track and analyze the sales pipeline and communicate key updates to the executive team
  • Be an evangelist for the Heyzap platform
  • Head up Heyzap’s presence at game developer conferences and industry events
  • Negotiate deals and contracts with potential partners
  • Push partners through the process of integration and launch onto the Heyzap Network

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree with excellent academic performance.
  • Deep experience in the US market for social gaming and online MMOs
  • A rolodex of social gaming and in-browser MMO contacts at executive or biz dev level
  • Proven ability to pursue and close significant game developer deals
  • Understand on how to sell intricate web APIs
  • Ability to lead up sales pipeline development
  • Ability to summarize complex issues in simple terms
  • Huge passion for the gaming industry
  • Deep understanding of the web and web trends
  • Professional and creative email etiquette and technique
  • Team player attitude and a huge sense of fun
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Understanding of business models
  • Understanding of legal contracts (partner contracts, NDAs, LOI etc)
  • Positive, problem solving attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great Google/Office/ Keynote/powerpoint skills
