Flash is finally here for the iphone – this is really good news for flash developers! Adobe CS5 will specifically allow flash developers to push their games out as an the iphone app to the App Store. This backs up the news yesterday that Adobe are also going to be pushing flash out to the other Smart Phones.
We’ve knocked up a real screenshot of a flash game on the iphone for you. The game is called Just Letters – a multiplayer touch based game. We’ve had the shop feature in a state of alpha for a while now but we are officially launching our virtual goods shop as of today. For the developers this is an awesome feature because it should increase the number of purchases in the game and raise the eCPM rate of the game. It should also save a lot of time for developers integrating virtual goods into the game. For the publishers it will increase the eCPM that they receive as well. As for users, it will reduce purchasing time as they will be able to buy things faster and see all the virtual goods options available to them before they make their purchases.
